Invitation

2026 Stellarton Conference Invitation & Information Sheet

To the saints gathered to the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ elsewhere,

We’ve been exercised recently here in Stellarton by the need to have the Lord’s people gathered together for times of fellowship, encouragement, and exhortation – and we’ve been struck by the absolute necessity of depending on the Lord Himself to provide this food and encouragement in His own time and according to His own plan. It may be easy to make plans and rush ahead in the energy of the flesh – but it’s much harder to wait on Him and be responsive to His leading and guidance.

“Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people? …So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.”
      Psalm 78:20, 72

“When ye see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it. Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure: come not near unto it, that ye may know the way by which ye must go: for ye have not passed this way heretofore.”
      Joshua 3:4

“If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.”
      Exodus 33:15

“Gather the people together, and I will give them water.”
      Numbers 21:16

With these verses in mind, and trusting we have the mind of the Lord – we’d like to invite those that are able, to join us in Stellarton for a few days spent focusing on the Word of God over the Labour Day long weekend. The meetings will begin, Lord willing, with prayer at 7:00 pm on Friday September 4, 2026, and continue through Lord’s Day, September 6. For those arriving in time on Friday, supper will be provided from 5:00 – 6:30 pm. We’re also planning a time of fellowship, recreation, and a picnic lunch at the beach for those that are able to stay for the holiday Monday.

For those wishing to join us, please register online here by no later than Monday August 3. Accommodations and meals will be provided, but we request that any under the age of 17 be accompanied by a responsible adult. Note that we cannot provide meals or accommodation for any under assembly discipline. Please address all other communications to Bryan Roossinck – see the attached sheet for additional details and contact information.

We value your prayers, and trust that this time will be used of the Lord for the blessing and encouragement of His saints.

With much love in our Lord, and on behalf of the saints gathered here in Stellarton,
